Ander Noah Canvas Ethos

At the core of these pieces is an exploration of the space they will ultimately occupy. Through the interplay of transparencies, reflections, and colored reflections, all negative space is filled by the piece's surroundings. The wall color and texture behind the glass and the reflected area of a mirror become more critical to the work than anything I directly present. These pieces often highlight a room's adjacent walls simultaneously in different contexts, and I find the careful consideration of placement to be the most compelling aspect of the work.

That being said - have you ever tried to photograph a mirror? It sucks. Trust that they look dope in the context of an area!
